PLAYBOOK – LESSON ONE: NAGA’S CURSE
Welcome to the first lesson of the nine-week program, Naga’s Curse!
Theme: Awareness of Self and Others
The first class introduces the children to the main character Naga the Dragon. Naga watches over his village and friends in a place called Dragon Dell and one fateful evening, a terrible curse is placed on him, and he becomes locked away in a cave. He has completely lost his memory, and he has no idea who he is anymore!
The only way that Naga’s curse can be broken, is with the help of some of his friends from Dragon Dell. But they don’t hold enough power so call on children across the world to help. Over the next seven classes, we break the curse and celebrate in the final lesson….or do we?
In this first class, children will also be introduced to the Chakradance™ Kids class structure and all the magical elements and wellbeing exercises that are in each class.

LESSON TWO – ALOKA AND THE WOLF –
BASE CHAKRA
Theme: Safety and Trusting Your Instincts
Aloka is a young wild girl who lives in caves with her tribe, the Redfoots. Against their wishes, she leaves the safety of her home to the call of excitement and adventure and finds herself in danger. A wolf befriends her, and she learns a very important lesson in how to recognize what her instincts (body whispers) feel like and paying attention to her surroundings. Aloka must use her new skills to make it home safely to her family. We hope you enjoy stomping your way into the earthly realm of Aloka!
WORKBOOK – CREATING THE MAGIC
This workbook really isn’t “work.” You will be wielding a glue gun, crafting scissors and activating your imagination as you are guided to create you magical class center piece and other magic tools that you will be using in your classes.
Be warned, you will never walk past a craft, thrift or crystal store again without filling your cauldron with goodies to take home and play with! It’s ok though, you will have our full support ALL the way! This is a fun and essential part of your training and toolkit development.

LESSON THREE – NAMIKO AND THE STORM WAVE – SACRAL CHAKRA
Theme: Healthy Emotional Expression
Namiko is known to have big and wild emotions. She finds it tricky, learning how to express her feelings and most of the time, she bottles everything up inside, often making her body feel stiff and sore. One day she releases all her feelings at once, creating a giant storm wave that damages everything in its path. She is lost at sea but is helped by some very special friends who teach her how to name her emotions and express them in ways that don’t hurt herself or others. We hope you enjoy exploring the magical world of Namiko!

SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
Theme: Self – esteem and Courage
Takeo’s family are all Sun Temple Warriors so it’s only natural that he too should become one and walk in their footsteps. However, Takeo has no confidence and has low self-esteem. It gets worse as he is bullied by another contender during the Warrior’s Quest to find the firestone. He must find his inner strength and personal power to overcome his greatest personal challenge, courage.
DELIVERING THE MAGIC WORKBOOK
This week your will explore all of the magical elements you will require, as an Chakradance™ Kids Facilitator. In this fun week of arts and ‘the crafts,’ you will learn how to:
- Activate imaginations with storytelling
- Guide playful, expressive movement and dance
- Deliver deeply calming and relaxing meditations
You will also start to create your facilitator’s magic toolkit, and learn how to wield these essential tools during class.
From creating your magical center-pieces, talking stick and class board, to ringing the chimes and making magic bubbles, you will discover the important role each one of these tools has in our classes.

LESSON FIVE – MERAKI AND THE TROLL – HEART CHAKRA
Theme: Jealousy and Compassion
Meraki is a ‘winged one’ and spends her days flying through the forest to help sick and injured animals. But the forest troll is very jealous of her, and hurts Meraki. She must learn to open her heart and find compassion for the troll and in the process, learns to find this for herself too.
EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT WORKBOOK
We will introduce you to several early learning and development theories. We have selected those theories regarded by childhood development experts as the most influential, and we will provide you with a basic understanding of how you can use this knowledge in helping children in your classes. Some of the theories you will explore include:

LESSON SIX – KYOSHI’S MAGICAL SONG – THROAT CHAKRA
Theme: Being Yourself and Expressing Your Truth
Kyoshi and his family live amongst the clouds, and they use their voices to help create golden sound waves that heal the earth. However, Kyoshi doesn’t like to use his voice and would much rather paint, to express himself. This is a story about a young boy learning to find his true authentic ‘voice’ and how his gifts as a painter help save his family from a cranky Wizard.
CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT WORKBOOK
This workbook is delivered in two sections: theoretical and practical.
The theory section provides you with the knowledge to develop positive methods of classroom management, ensuring that your interaction with children aligns with the integrity and philosophy of Chakradance Kids.
This includes:
- Learning and developing strategies to work with children who have behavioral challenges, poor self-esteem and/or physical challenges.

Theme: Intuition and Clear Inner Sight
Katami finds herself lost in the fog of another world and becomes confused and unable to think clearly. She learns to follow the subtle signs of her intuition presented to her and as she does, the fog lifts and she begins to think and see clearly, making her way home.
PREPARING FOR YOUR FINAL ASSESSMENT WORKBOOK
To successfully complete your Chakradance Kids – Primary Facilitator Training, you are required to submit a recorded full live class, of you delivering the intro class. In this workbook, you will be given the full class script of the Intro Class, plus everything you need to know, step by step to help you prepare, deliver and submit your demonstration.

LESSON EIGHT – PAIKU’S GOLDEN WINGS – CROWN CHAKRA
Theme: Problem Solving and Seeing the Bigger Picture
Paiku is feeling overwhelmed with a school project. He is supposed to be carving a totem pole showing his story and who he is, but he has no idea what he is meant to carve. He goes on a journey of self-discovery, searching for the answers and discovers the answers have been within him the whole time. He just needed an eagle-eyed perspective to find the answers.
WORKBOOK – FACILITATING ONLINE GROUP CLASSES
This workbook will guide you through the practical aspects of running classes in the online space. Whilst the world has thankfully returned to classes being held in person, there are still ongoing reasons why children might not be able to attend live classes.
In this workbook, we will dive in a little deeper to these reasons and how online classes can have a tremendous impact on kids in this space. You will learn:

Welcome to the final lesson of the Naga’s Curse program.
This integration class offers children a magical experience as they return to Dragon Dell. They discover how their own magic has helped Naga break the curse, whilst discovering their own inner magic, powers and strength along the way.
WORKBOOK – FACILITATING SPECIALIZED CLASSES
In this workbook you’ll learn all the skills necessary to conduct private in-person and online individual sessions. You’ll learn how to:
- facilitate private sessions as a 9-part series, or based on a specific theme tailored for the needs of the child
- tune into what the child needs and personalize the session for a deeper healing experience
- hold a space of nurturing and care, whils still maintaining sacred boundaries, so you can support them through their healing experience and always feel safe, energized, and secure in your personal power.

Anna Kelly
Anna brings over 20 years as a highly experienced holistic therapist, yoga teacher, counsellor and healer to Chakradance™ Kids. Before co-founding Chakradance™ Kids (formerly inamojo) with Natalie in 2013, Anna also taught yoga and wellbeing to children in schools, kindergartens and in her own yoga school.
Natalie Southgate
Natalie is the creator of the world-renowned movement therapy modality Chakradance™, a Hay House author and co-founder of Chakradance™ Kids, Natalie brings over 30 years of experience in Jungian analysis, dance therapy and healing practice to the Chakradance™ Kids.
