Chakradance™ Kids is a modern day movement therapy modality, woven with ancient healing traditions that nurture the whole child. We have a strong focus on creativity, imagination and self-expression through play whilst developing the physical, mental emotional and energy bodies of the child.
Weaving original music and modern day fairytales that reflect what children of today are facing, along with expressive movement, mandala-based art, meditation and breath awareness, Chakradance™ Kids classes offer children a space where they can truly discover who they are, in the most magical of ways.
Peek inside a class and you will see the children wiping away dragon sneeze with feathers, or moving like wolves. They may be creating art in a magic circle, or reaching up like a forest of trees.
Our classes are playful, creative and full of magic, as this is how children learn best.

WE'RE FOCUSED ON THE WHOLE-child
Chakradance™ Kids lessons focus on the development of the whole child.
Our foundations are based on the integrative energy ‘map’ of the chakra system together with Jungian psychology, a variety of contemporary Childhood Development theories and ancient eastern wellbeing practices.
Each lesson explores key childhood developmental themes, that also relates to the child’s physical, mental, emotional and energy development.
These foundations underpin and drive the key developmental themes in each class.
KINDY PROGRAM
FOR KIDS AGED 3 – 5 YEARS
Our Chakradance Kids Kindy program has been developed for 3-5 year olds. The first series, called The Magic Story Tree, guides children on a magical journey of self discovery with lead character, Nixie the Rainbow Dragon. Through our signature fairytales, movement, music and art, children develop their sense of being, belonging and becoming whilst doing their most important work; play!
This program is suitable for kids who are of Kindergarten age, and also in the first year of schooling (up to the age of 6).

PRIMARY PROGRAM
FOR KIDS AGED 5 – 9 YEARS
Our Chakradance Kids Primary program has been developed for 5-9 year olds. The first series, called Naga’s Curse, leads children on an epic quest of self discovery, with our lead character Naga the Dragon (dragons are our thing!). Through exploring our signature fairytales that explore key developmental and current themes that children are facing, to then process and express their inner worlds, feelings and experiences though movement and art, children are guided through epic soundscapes to further explore their sense of identity and integrating the whole-being; body, mind, energy and spirit.

THE CHAKRA SYSTEM
Where energy intelligence begins!
The Chakradance™ Kids energetic philosophy follows the map of the seven main energy centres, called chakras. These energy centres are integrated with the physical body, running in a vertical column from the base of the spine, to just above the crown of the head.
The word ‘chakra’ is a Sanskrit word that translates to ‘wheel.’ According to ancient eastern philosophy dating back more than four thousand years, a chakra or wheel is a spinning sphere of bio-energetic energy that emanates from specific areas in and around the body. Each chakra is like a realm, vibrating to different sound and colour frequencies. They contain their own biological makeup and are energetically connected to specific glands, organs and hormones in the body.
In every moment of life, from the point of conception, we are gathering information, processing, storing and responding to our environment, physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically. We are geared to survive, this is the basic drive of human existence. However, we are much more than that and as energies, we are also here to thrive, grow and evolve on a soul level.

Natalie Southgate and Anna Kelly founded Chakradance ™ Kids (formerly inamojo™) in 2013.
In 1998, Natalie created Chakradance™ the internationally acclaimed healing modality for adults, combining her training in dance, jungian psychology and chakra healing. She has currently trained over 1000 Facilitators in over 70 countries.
Anna brings over 20 years of experience as a yoga teacher, holistic counsellor and natural therapies practitioner. Anna has taught yoga and wellbeing to children in schools, kindergartens and in her own yoga school and has currently trained over 300 Facilitators in over 14 countries.
Chakradance™ Kids programs draws on the combined gifts, soul passion and experience of Natalie and Anna, to make a deep impact on the world across all generations. Over the years we have also benefited from the input from leading education professionals, psychologists, parents … and of course, children!
